Final Piece Template

This is my final design, which I produced in Photoshop. I am happy with the outcome, however, if I were to do it again - I'd make sure that all the different pages were contrasting.

Cut Out Poem

This is my poem - I made this by cutting words and phrases out of three random books and dropping them into place. However random they landed, that was my poem.

Brief 2 Introduction

My task is to produce a poetry book, inspired by Sister Corita Kent. Corita Kent uses a vast amount of colour in her art prints, varying from pinks and yellows, to reds and greens. Her work is bright, layered, and the typeface she uses varies each time, from Sans Serif to a basic Serif.

I have to produce my own poem, by cutting out pieces from a book then placing them randomly. My poem came out like;

'There are several serial killers in Sweden.
Denmark and England had shown it to them.
Police Officer, Martin Cooper - "You're lying."
The mobile phone, despite his age, is about 75%.
But in fact, when you hear if they had admitted; not only when you ring, you smell it on the prisoners you beat up.
"This is a mobile phone."
That's why the American's called it 'working late.'
He decided in his swivel chair; he's morbidly obsessed with home-made sandwiches - and it wasn't the first time.
He was in good physical shape after his coffee.
In a flash, the light was on and the person facing him sniffed the air.
The office was open, and he had planned to do some overtime, without alcohol, directly receiving signals.
And she removed her glasses and discovered; there's no phone.'

Final Product

Here is my final product. I had to produce 4 badges and the packaging for them. I used Photoshop to produce these and edit my drawings. I scanned my drawings in and changed the threshold in Photoshop, so that the lines would appear solid black, and become easier to work with and edit. The production of them went well, as I'm experienced in Photoshop and I used similar techniques for each one. If I had to do the badges again, I would produce 4 solid drawings from clear ideas, as opposed to drawing 7-8 images and not being able to decide.
